Service

This Privacy Policy applies to GETDROP and the Service provided for the sale, purchase or exchange of game items (hereinafter – the Service), including marketing activities on third-party sites. DTS processes your personal data provided and collected through or in the course of the Service provision. Therewith you agree to the GETDROP Terms of use of the Service.


1. Processed data (including data categories)

Data received by DTS from the Service users

To gain access to certain features of the Service you will be asked to add a given name and surname, data and scanned copy of identity document (passport, ID, driver's license), address of residence, personal data of payment card, phone number and e-mail. You are not required to provide additional information in your profile. This will not be public information.

Data received by DTS from third parties

All features of the GETDROP service are available after authorization through Steam. During the first authorization we receive your Steam ID, user image and Profile Name from Valve Corporation. Steam ID is used to create a GETDROP Account and to provide the user with information about his/her Steam game items. In the process of creating a GETDROP Account you will be assigned a User ID – a GETDROP unique digital number.

Transactions and payment data

It is impossible to make payments through the Service to replenish the virtual account. However, this can be done through other payment systems, which will be offered depending on your location. DTS may transfer to your chosen payment provider contact information to ensure the transaction and to perform anti-fraud check-ups. Similarly, DTS will receive data from your payment system operator for the same reasons. We also collect, store and process information about your game items availability, exchange and preferences.

Cookies

As described in the Cookie Policy, DTS uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, advertising tags and device IDs) to identify you and your device within and outside the Service. In addition, DTS allows some other persons to use cookies as described in the Cookie Policy. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and by other means. You can also opt out of the use of cookies and similar technologies to track your activity on third-party websites for third-party advertisers.

Information about your device and location

When you visit our website DTS receives the address of the website from which you are logged in. In addition, DTS receives information about your IP address, proxy server, web browser, selected site color settings, screen resolution, operating system version and other data that allow identifying you and your device.

Messages

Information sent by you in the form of messages or comments on the forum on our website or in the chat with technical support. By posting information on the forum, you make it public. Information transmitted in the chat support is confidential and protected.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics – Google, Inc. web analytics service (Google). Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to measure your interaction. 2. Processing purposes

Service

DTS uses your data to provide access to the Service for the purchase, sale, and exchange of game items. Depending on your location, we provide a list of payment systems operating in your area. By using cookies, we store your chosen website design, language and other settings for convenient use of the Service.

Marketing

DTS displays advertising to website visitors both within the Service and outside it directly or through partners, using the following data:
- data collected from marketing technologies, including advertising tags, cookies and device IDs;
- contact information provided by the Service users;
- data obtained from the use of the Service (search history, visited site sections, viewed products, choice of color scheme of the site, etc.);
- data generated from the above data.

Support

DTS uses your data to answer questions and complaints about the Service for consideration and decision-making.

Marketing

DTS uses your data for security purposes and to investigate suspected or actual fraud or other illegal activities.

Statistics

DTS uses your data for the receipt and dissemination of aggregate statistics, which do not allow your identification. For example, to calculate the number of times an ad is shown and clicked on, visiting and use of the Service in different regions and countries.


3. Processing time

DTS stores your personal data as long as your account exists or as necessary for the operation of our Service. Even if you use the Service every few years when searching for, exchanging, selling or buying items, we will retain your personal data and your account until you close it. After you close your account, your personal data will be deleted, blocked or anonymized in accordance with applicable law, unless legal requirements or other prevailing legitimate purposes require longer retention. Sometimes it is impossible to completely delete data because of the need to comply with the consistency of exchange, sale and purchase on the trading platform. If you use the right to object to the processing of your personal data, we will consider your objection and delete the data processed for the purpose objected, unless there is another legal basis for the processing and storage of this data or if the storage of this data is not required under applicable law. If you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data or your child's data, we will delete the data to the extent that the collection and processing of data is based on the consent.


4. User right

Data protection laws in force in different territories grant rights with respect to your personal data. To exercise your rights, you can contact us using the contact information specified on the website or through your personal account.

Right to information

You can apply for provision of a copy of your personal data by sending us a request in any way possible.

Right to rectification

You can change some of your personal data in your personal account, or contact us with a request to change or correct your data if they are inaccurate.

Right to be forgotten («oblivion»)

You can request us to delete all or some of your personal data, for example, if:
- they are no longer needed for the original processing purposes;
- consent has been used as a legal basis for their processing;
- there is no legitimate interest for the further processing of personal data;
- they were used for marketing purposes.

Right to restriction of processing

You can request us to suspend the processing of all or some of your personal data, for example, if your personal data are inaccurate or you believe that they are being processed illegally.

Right to data portability

You can request us to provide you with a copy of your personal data in machine-readable format (e.g. xml, csv) provided by you earlier.

Right to object

You can ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing purposes.


5. Children

Since the basic information necessary for the operation of our Service is received from Valve Corporation, we follow a similar policy with respect to children's personal data (section 7 https://store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement). We encourage parents to explain to their children when they can and cannot disclose their personal data online.


6. Cross-border data transfer

DTS processes personal data both within and outside the European Union (the EU), in accordance with the legal mechanisms for cross-border data transmission. The laws of the countries in which the data is processed may differ from those of the EU and may be less effective in data protection. In some cases, we use Standard contractual clauses (SCC) adopted by the European Commission as a mechanism to transfer data from the EU countries. Organizations engaged in the processing of personal data on behalf of DTS have adopted SCC, as appropriate, in order to ensure confidentiality, security and legality of processing of your personal data. Personal data of the Service users is currently stored in the EU territory.


7. Legal grounds for processing

DTS processes personal data in the presence of the following legal grounds:
- consent (received from you);
- agreement (contractual relationship with you to provide access to all functions of our Service or relationship preceding the conclusion of the contract);
- legitimate interest;
- legal obligations imposed on us to comply with current legislation.
Processing of personal data in accordance with legitimate interests is carried out for the following purposes:
- to protect you and ourselves against threats to privacy, security and against fraudulent actions by third parties;
